Device Files

Netmate Connect is capable of deploying the same commands (specified with either -c or -cf flags) to multiple devices in parallel. Connect will deploy to a maximum of 10 devices in parallel with additional devices run once one or more concurrent deployments have completed.

To track the results of deployments it is recommended that you log session output which will provide you with a separate timestamped log of each session.

Device files are specified with the -df <filename> flag and should contain one device name per line in a text file. Each name should yield a single match in the database otherwise user intervention will be required to select a specific device for each line that matches more than one device.
